We went to the opening fireworks for La Merce 09 (Barcelona's Festival) last night and we thought it was great! The show was put on by a US company. The crowd kept clapping when the team did an awesome display. Sitting next to the sea w/ thousands of ppl stretch out on the beach, watching this great display was truly an experience....until tonight!!! Holy COW! Tonight's display of fireworks from the folks in Valencia, Spain was even BETTER! They started off slow...we were saying their display of fireworks are some what mediocre compare to the Americans but then they started to show how wrong we were. They exploded fireworks like drum beats playing, shooting fireworks into the sea(which exploded like thunder!), and then ending the show with this huge display(which we happen to capture. YAY!!!). We can't wait for tomorrow's display from France and the ending ceremony fireworks on Sunday. Enjoy :)
